The way of life can be free and beautiful.

Here's the first project I have completed for my documentary class.

what's your [protest] sign? from Elle Beezy on Vimeo.

I feel so proud to have been at the march in Portland with over 5,000 other people. While the goals of the movement seem confused at times, everyone there shared the need for change. When it comes to politics. often I feel cynical and am generally apathetic. But I feel hope and excitement seeing what's happening across the country and the world.

Today's post title comes from the speech in the Charlie Chaplin film "The Great Dictator." I first heard it on Chances With Wolves, and it speaks to anyone who feels a disconnect because of the greed that separates us as people.

Please give it and CWW a listen. In the show the DJs discuss what the movement means to them and what rights we should be fighting for. And they play some amazing music.
