It lasts longer....

Some photography inspiration. Silent-film actresses can strike a pose like no other. Oh Miss Bow, how dido you do it?

Capturing motion. F-ing with the F-stop.

Juxtaposing nature with a strong sense of self.

Lighting. After-Effects. Playing with Perception.

Tis the Season

I'm one of those people who refuse to be disappointed by Christmas no matter how many terrible ones I've been subjected to. Cuz, for me, Christmas isn't about getting my faith in humanity restored. It's about stressing out over money, travel, NYE plans and really hoping Aunt Beatrice is taking her meds this year.

It's as good a time as any to introduce you to a little show that's perfect for the season.

Peep Show. Is. Brilliant. And I say brilliant because obviously it's a British series and they say all sorts of brilliant words like the word brilliant.  It's all on Hulu. Pace yourself though. Use it as a tool this holiday season to combat the stress when Mom cuts you off from the Christmas wine.

I bought some Kale on Sale, It was a KALE SALE! #vegansoulfood

I have been craving faux chicken nuggets ever since trying some at Whole Foods a few weeks ago. Not wanting to pay $7.99 a pound to get my fix, I searched online and found this recipe. I've never attempted fried tofu before, and after researching various methods, I froze some organic extra-firm and let it thaw before pressing it for an hour.

While the breading and tofu are low in calories, deep-frying is never going to be the healthiest way to prepare. To combat it I sauteed some lacinato kale, in kind of a 'collard green' style.

Let your [vegan] soul glo!
